All are welcome to join the Cliff Dweller’s Theatre Club as we head to the Chopin Theatre on THURSDAY, September 26 (7:30 p.m. curtain) to see the one-man show: “Royko: The Toughest Man in Chicago”
The production tells the story of cantankerous Chicago columnist Mike Royko, a 34-year newspaper veteran who wrote 7,500 columns in his career. Love him or hate him, he was a fixture amongst Chicago newspapers.
NOTE: The Club will be closed for a private event that evening, so we will be gathering at Lawn Craft Hamburger, 1141 N Ashland Ave (in the same block at the theatre) at around 6:15 pm. Lawn Craft specializes in hamburgers and shawarma, but vegetarian options are available. You can, of course, choose to simply meet us at the theatre instead.
Ticket cost is $65.09 per person. (However, if more than 10 people sign on, the price per ticket will drop to $43.89.)
To sign up for this event, please contact Rick Frendt at:
