Author Andrea Friederici Ross joins the Cliff Dwellers to share the true story of Zina, Amy, and Rose Fay, three Victorian-era sisters who defied expectations to leave their mark on history. Ms. Fiederici Ross will share the siblings roles in the beginnings of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the construction of Orchestra Hall, and the founding of the Anti-Cruelty Society.
Andrea Friederici Ross has worked as the operations manager of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, assistant to the director of the Chicago Zoological Society, and at her local public school library. She’s the author of Edith: The Rogue Rockefeller McCormick, and Let the Lions Roar! The Evolution of the Brookfield Zoo.
Madison Street Books will be on site for book sales.
