Presented by Ben Thomas, Executive Director SAH
Ben Thomas will present the story about the intersection of Hollywood, archaeology, and the search for a Colonial-era Spanish church in Belize.
Over a period of six years, a group of intrepid archaeologists braved heat, humidity, wild animals and lots of bugs along the Sibun River to look for ancient Maya settlements, chocolate and a 16th century Spanish church said to have been destroyed by a local Maya group during a rebellion against their Spanish overseers.
