“Devising” is a thrilling, innovative, and European-centered approach to creating new, original works of theatre. By putting the power of theatre creation back into the hands of the actors, an ensemble plays off of one another to craft a piece of theatre in a challenging, collaborative, and highly creative process.
Corin Wiggins, Cliff Dwellers Artist-in-Residence, and his ensemble will be performing a live demonstration of the devising process while incorporating elements of their new in-process devised theatre piece Gli Innamorati on Wednesday, May 28th. This is a show that examines dating culture and various manifestations of love in an increasingly disconnected and isolated world.
