Dear Cliff Dweller,

Your contributions to support the services and programs of the Cliff Dwellers Club continue to be of critical importance to our organization.

As you may know, this winter the Cliff Dwellers begin a needed (and deserved!) renovation of our home on the 22nd floor. The scope includes refinishing our beautiful wood floors, upgrading lighting throughout the Club, electrical improvements, a reimagined coat room, door repairs + new Terrace door, fresh paint and finishes, and more! One notable update in planning is a functional upgrade to the working side of the bar to permit improved cocktail service (again deserved!).

As part of our newly negotiated lease, our landlord is providing some funding towards these renovation efforts. But our own dollars, acting in conjunction with the landlord-provided funds, could provide much more leverage to provide improved amenities and services that do not currently exist.

In addition to the winter renovation work, the Club is continuing its efforts to build services that improve our members’ day-to-day experience. Specialized and seasonal menu upgrades, an increased number of cultural events spanning architecture, music, poetry, literature, theatre, sculpture, art, and more are all planned for the current fall season! These kinds of upgrades and events continue to imbue a Cliff Dwellers Membership with ever increasing value.

All of these exciting efforts require funding. As we continue to move forward with our new 21st Century Annual Fund campaign, we humbly ask you to continue to help us support our membership-expansion initiative, so important for sustaining the Club’s current and future operations.
