DESCRIPTION:Richard Hunt (1935-2023) was an extraordinary world-renowned artist and very dear to the Club.  To mark what would have been Richard’s 89th birthday\, we’re excited to present two major events\, to wit: \n Art Opening:\nGroup show featuring sculptors who worked with\, and for\, Richard Hunt.\n+\nFilm Screening:\nFeaturing excerpts from: The Light of Truth: Richard Hunt’s Monument to Ida B. Wells\n(highlighting Richard’s story and process).  \nOn this evening\, we’ll meet and mingle with the artists and filmmakers. There will be a light appetizer buffet\, a birthday cake\, and joyful singing.  And\, yes\, there will be warm toasts to our beloved Richard Hunt! \n5:30pm-Bar opens\n5:45 pm-Dinner-$35\n6pm-7:15pm\, 7:45-9pm-Music-$12 cover charge \nReservations can be made by email to\nreservations@cliff-chicago.org \nor by calling 312-922-8080 \nRSVP by September 2nd.
