The Letter is a loving and caring monument to the people who fought in the war zones of Vietnam and at home.
The Letter: A Family’s Tale Unplugged goes back to 1969, when 10-year-old Terri enjoys a care-free life. The Vietnam War brings turmoil into her family when her oldest brother Johnny decides to join the Marines and fight for his country. A short year later, two Marines bring news of Johnny’s death. This story shows one family’s struggle through loss and back to normalcy.
Terri will talk about her book, her writing journey, show slides from of her research and answer questions at the end of her presentation.
Since publishing in 2016 Terri has presented to parishes, students, veterans, libraries and book clubs. She has since published a children’s book and is working on her third book.
Books will be available for sale and signing after the presentation. ($15.00)
