SUMMARY:Theatre Club - Steppenwolf's production of TopDog/UnderDog
DESCRIPTION:The next Theatre Club get-together takes us to the Steppenwolf Theatre on Wednesday\, October 28th for the Theatre in Chicago’s “Highly Recommended” production of:\nTOPDOG/UNDERDOG\n7:30 pm  Steppenwolf Theatre\n\n\nBrothers Lincoln and Booth\, named in jest\, are two Black men living in America just trying to get by. Lincoln dresses like his namesake\, reenacting his assassination for money and laughs. Booth stays stuck in their apartment\, working tirelessly on his three-card hustle. Sibling rivalry and a lifetime of resentment come to a head in this fast-paced and ferocious thrill ride from Suzan-Lori Parks. The deck is stacked with a Tony Award-winning director\, a Pulitzer Prize-winning script and a tour-de-force showdown for ensemble members Glenn Davis and Namir Smallwood.\n\nWe plan to meet at the Club for dinner about 5:30 and will Uber to the theater for the 7:30 curtain. Details to be confirmed.\n\nEstimated ticket cost per person is approximately $89\, depending upon the number of attendees and if we can get a group discount. There will be a slight additional charge for the Uber. Let us know if you’ll be joining the group for dinner at the club. DESCRIPTION:The Robert Milne House (Jerry’s House) \nThis exhibition features work by everyOther\, an informal Chicago-based watercolor sketch group that meets every other Sunday afternoon\, year-round. Their first exhibition at The Cliff Dwellers highlights the Robert Milne House\, currently owned by Jerry Adelmann\, CD ’87\, who has hosted the group at his remarkable property for more than 20 years. \nDawn Liddicoatt began sculpting in the fall of 2017 with Rodrigo Lara at the Hyde Park Art Center. Her inspiration is from the female form\, for its power as a source of creation.
