Dear Cliff Dweller,
In these unstable times, your contributions to support the services and programs of the Cliff Dwellers Club continue to be of great importance. In the last two years, the 21st Century Annual Fund has been vital in sustaining The Club during the pandemic’s closures and restrictions. “Renew and Enhance” is the theme of our 2022-2023 campaign. Our goal is to raise $50,000 to maintain and augment The Club’s facilities and services.

From 2019-2022, we have raised over $275,000 in donations. This gave The Club the financial resources to cover expenditures that were not in the budget and avoid the need for any special assessments.

Some members’ contributions were specifically designated to help fund the following:

Upgrade audio/visual program equipment
Add locking doors to the Sullivan Room bookcases to secure the library collection
Replace the outdated office PC
Remodel the fireplace bookcases to accommodate magazines and books
Over 70 percent of our members have made contributions to our past campaigns. We hope that even more members will join their ranks this year.

We also ask that more members seriously consider making a bequest to the Cliff Dwellers Endowment Fund in their estate plans. Thus far members have placed bequests amounting to $108,000 in their wills. This reflects how much our members want to ensure that The Club’s long and distinguished history of support for the arts within the Chicagoland community will continue.

Links provided for your consideration are a pledge form and information on how to make a bequest.

We appreciate any contribution that you can afford to help The Cliff Dwellers continue its many programs and member services.
